There’s no way.

    1. I don’t doubt that he cheated and Elon helped him get away with it, but I also equally don’t doubt that people were stupid enough to vote for him. Cuz people are still stupid enough to vote for him a fourth time if they were given the opportunity to.

“It’s not the people who vote that count. It’s the people who count the votes.” ~ Joseph Stalin (maybe)

    3. I mean, did exit polls predict a different outcome? I have no difficulty believing that 50% of the electorate voted for this guy.

    4. In democracy it’s your vote that counts. In feudalism it’s your count that votes.

Them cheating, lots of Americans are racist and dumb AND the people virtue signaling about Gaza claiming they couldn’t vote for genocide (Kamala) is how this turd won.

    6. There’s provable mass voter disenfranchisement. Greg Palast has a good breakdown in his documentary “Vigilantes Inc”. I wouldn’t doubt they would cheat beyond voter disenfranchisement

    7. Some of us have been screaming this since election day. Statistically impossible for Turmp to win all seven swing states.

To bad instead of doing anything people come here to complain. Nothing will change. They’ll take your retirement away and make you thank them. I hate this place

    9. If they really did cheat before, I don’t know why they would be pushing the save act so hard. I think there are just way too many idiots in this country.

    10. Didn’t Elon have the results couple of hours before it was officially confirmed?

    11. Let’s play fairytale pretend for two seconds and pretend that the whole thing was on the up and up. A $200 million campaign donation to destroy trillions worth of assets in the Middle East, evaporate soft power globally and drive the country into insolvency is a crazy return on investment.

Idk man, I know so so so so many otherwise fairly progressive boomers that voted Trump solely because he thought he would be good for the stock market and because they foolishly thought checks and balances would keep him from being unhinged and evil.

    13. While that may be true, Kamala was a flawed candidate who was put in the worst position possible.

    14. It is very likely he lost by a very small margin and thus managed to get away with cheating somehow, but at the of the day, a LOT of people DID vote for him, and that’s worse.

I think a lot of you need to accept the unfortunate reality that a significant percentage of this country would happily send any “other” groups into camps if they thought it meant sub-$2 gas prices. Covid was a wake-up call for me: the specifics of masks and vaccines did not matter, it was people rejecting “make a small sacrifice to potentially save lives” as a core premise.

While red states have been doing various degrees of voter suppression for ages, there has yet to be anything concrete indicating the election was outright rigged. People thought the economy was bad and voted for someone they thought would make it good; they don’t care about anything else, and they are either too dumb or too apathetic to look behind the curtain and see the realities of the economic situation.

    16. Recent studies have shown that if every eligible voter cast a vote in the election, Trump still would’ve won.

That’s how fucked up this country is.

    17. They’re not using doge to cover their tracks. They’re using the stolen information & and the SAVE act to win the midterms and then he’s president until he dies.

Counterpoint: most peoples’ entire worldview is constructed via social media algorithms.

Trump: “We’re going to get the haters and losers out of this country!”

Haters and losers: “Hell yeah, those guys are ruining America!”

Not a synapse of self-awareness fires between the leader-movement dynamic.

    19. He dosnt seem to be at all concerned about the midterms, he is definitely planning to rig the midterms, or simply deny the result.

I think this view gives American voters too much credit honestly. I can absolutely see Trump getting all those votes. I mean, even if they did cheat, they’d only need to do so in swing states because those are the only ones that actually matter in presidential elections. So he must’ve legitimately got the tens of millions of votes from the other states. And if you can believe he got those votes, it’s not much of a leap to think he could’ve won the swing states as well. There are many reasons people voted for Trump, ranging from them being bad people who legitimately like him and his policies, to only voting for specific issues like abortion, to being ignorant people who don’t really pay attention to or understand politics and then just vote on vibes and soundbites. Also remember that the economy is a major factor for swing voters, and Trump’s team and really the media as a whole were doing everything in their power to pin inflation, the price of eggs, and every other economic issue at the time on Biden and his administration.

It is possible that they cheated, I’m not saying otherwise. But I just think people have way too much faith in their fellow voters if their reason for believing that he cheated is just that they believe that a majority of Americans are good, well-informed people who would never vote for someone like Trump.

Why do the same people who decry Qanon rush to believe conspiracy theories if they are anti Trump? I voted Harris but held no illusions that Trump was unbeatable.

Elon openly admitted to buying votes, and the courts allowed it. I feel like people keep forgetting that. Despite it being, you know, illegal af.

I feel like people sometimes underestimate just how dumb some people can be. I have a lovely coworker who is so nice, very eager to please, gets along with everybody. She said she voted for Trump. She is Mexican. Moved here from Mexico. I just stared at her for a moment before going “but…. why?” She said he was going to make groceries cheaper, and she wanted cheaper groceries. Bless her heart.
